In 2008 we will again be running our full range of guided forages and wild-foods walks, plus an expanded range of bushcraft &; survival courses. Our courses are aimed at all ages, all levels of experience and physical condition. As ever the emphasis will be on fun, learning and enjoyment plus, on our more in-depth courses, the development of personal confidence and self sufficiency skills.

G-1000 material, so wind and water resistant but with a far more rugged feel than other single layer Fjallraven jackets plus plenty of zippered pockets! We like the detachable hood idea allowing the user to get the hood completely out of the way when not required. The Montt is well ventilated with a mesh lining over the shoulders and vents along the back. | | Frost’s - Hi-Vis Clipper Field Knife 860F  This is the classic Frost’s Clipper knife, with black ‘no-slip’ rubberised grip, this keeps the knife secure and safely in your hand even if it gets wet or sticky. The Hi-Vis fluorescent orange top & tail to the handle means you can still see your knife even if you should drop it in the grass or heather, a useful and very important safety feature. The stainless steel blade is easy to sharpen and holds a razor-edge well even after grueling use. | | Swanndri - Skipper Shirt  Same material as Ranger Shirt, loosely woven (light weight) 100% pure New Zealand wool and with the same waterproof properties as the Ranger - really will keep out the light rain and drizzle. More of a 'daypack' than a 'back-pack' as-such, but in a classic retro design. The pack is made from soft, quiet G-1000 material and so is incredibly strong; buckled leather straps hold the lid on the main compartment in place.
