Our Deer-Stalking course proved enormously popular in 2007 and we will again be running the same format in 2008. This course covers all aspects of Deer Stalking including, understanding deer ecology, their habits, their environment, deer signs, how to find and see deer, how to dress, how to move and approach deer. The course is aimed at deer stalkers wishing to improve their craft, photographers, artists and wild-life observers, all of whom may wish to learn and understand how to track and get close to wild deer.
Deer Stalker’s Rifle Course - One Day June 20th, July25th, Aug19th, Sept 26th, Often copied, but never bettered, our ever popular one-day Rifle-Skills course has been further improved and tailored to your needs; we will continue to offer this exciting course at the world renowned British Sporting Rifle Club, NRA Bisley in Surrey. This course has now been written enthusiastically about in ‘Sporting Rifle’, ‘The Sporting Gazette’, ‘The Shooting Times’ and ‘The Sporting Shooter’ and has even been mentioned in the British Deer Society’s Deer Journal; course covers all aspects of rifle-skills needed by lowland stalkers and, by building on basic good shooting principles, focuses on developing accuracy and confidence from all the various positions: simulated high seat, sitting, kneeling and standing. We look at the use of various shooting aides such as single, double and triple stick and discuss the merits of each in depth. It’s an enjoyable and full day....!
