Much more than a durable, ergonomic shoulder sling pack, this is a state-of-the-art portable equipment organiser that provides the secure containment of and rapid accessibility to daily equipment. The versatile main compartment has a large 156 cu. in. of space with a water-resistant storm collar that can be deployed by pulling a cord-locked drawstring. An array of integral fixed-position external pouches retains and indexes individual items. The Fatboy comes with a tactile non-slip shoulder pad that provides additional comfort during more extended use.

The Fatboy S-Type Versipack - think Fatboy but specifically designed to be used on the left-hand side of your body and was originally designed by Maxpedition for US Search and Rescue Teams. The S-type allows for the additional attachment of a CP-L Radio Holster or any other accessory pocket in place of the Mobile-phone pocket on the standard Fatboy. The JUMBO is for larger loads or for use over extended periods, designed for right-hand carry, the JUMBO Versipack is essentially a larger fatboy versipack with a larger main compartment plus additional pockets; the whole utilises the original Fatboy shoulder sling concept. The JUMBO’s main compartment is over 50% larger than the Fatboy, in addition, it has three zippered accessory pockets, two sleeve pockets, and one drawstring pocket.

If you're buying a Versipack, don't be without a: Maxpedition Janus Extension Pouch adds further versatility to your Maxpedition Versipack Fatboy or Jumbo Fatboy. The Janus connects via the male/female quick release buckles on the 2" strap of the Versipack thus extending the strap and adding further pockets and providing additional storage for most customers. (This also has the happy benefit of effectively elongating a fully extended shoulder/waist strap for our larger customers). The extension strap can be completely removed and used independently of the pouch. The pouch too can be used independently by modular attachment on webbing using a pair of long Malice Clips (also with either side facing outwards, and with opening on left or right).

Entry-level "bum-bag", simple and versatile, the OCTA Versipack is a waist bag designed to maximize usable space in a compact package and to provide comfort while standing, kneeling, or sitting down. The Octa has a facility to hold a torch on top of lid and bungee compression capabilities for larger items such as waterproofs. The rear has a webbing matrix that can fit up to 4 short Malice clips and there are additional 1" loops on either end for Grimlocs, Annex or Slik Clips.
Ideal for short outings on foot; we use ours for hill and woodland stalking; the Octa carries all we need.

We have found the Proteus to be one of the most useful Versipacks; our American friends call these ‘fannypacks’, but we more sensitively natured folk in Britain tend to stick to ‘bum-bags’….we’re not sure which is worse - you decide, regardless, the product is tremendous. Large enough to be used as a daypack, we’ve found them ideal on the hill when hind culling – enabling us to carry everything from drag ropes, a water-proof, a modest ‘piece’, a water purifier, compass and other basic essentials. Allegedly named after a mythical character that had the ability to take on many shapes and forms, the Proteus Versipack provides a large enough 285 cu. in. of well organised storage space.
The Proteus is equipped with compression straps that snap into the integral handle to secure contents and three rows of nylon webbing attachment points to accommodate modular accessories. Extremely functional and with the usual no-compromise Maxpedition build quality.

The Sabercat is the super-sized member of the Maxpedition "bum-bag" trilogy. The main compartment measures 10" x 7" x 4", there is also a 7" x 7" x 1.5" frontal internal division with a key retainer and 7" x 4" x 2.5" side pockets
The top measures 9" x 4" x 1" and has an elasticised organiser, a division, a mesh pocket and webbing.
The waist belt has a padded hip support with an adjustable 2" waist belt; the Sabercat fits all waist sizes between 28" to 56" comfortably.
This capacious bag will carry everything you need for a more extended trip out on the hills; it can also double up as a very useful rifle-rest for prone shooting should the need occur!
