For those who were wondering when Leica would join the fray, here it is.... the Rangemaster CRF 1600 will precisely measure distances from 10 m to approximately 1500 m (1600 yards), even in the harshest weather conditions in less than 0.3 seconds. For the first time, this increadibly compact unit now also comprises an integrated ballistics computer, an inclination meter and a barometric-pressure meter.

The CRF 1600 has a range of different ballistics calculous built in covering a wide spectrum of tragectories, a temperature and barometric-pressure meter and an integrated gradient sensor. Along with the rest of the CRF range, the 1600 is also an effective 7x magnification monocular........if you’re as forget ful as Ian is, who regularly forgets his binoculars on the hill....(!).......you’ll know just how useful; this really is in practice!

This remarkable rangefinder is outstanding in terms of ergonomics too, being the only premium-quality rangefinder that is held vertically, making it perfect for left or right handers, it sits comfortably in the palm of the hand and is easy to hold and extremely light to caarry.
