Almost the perfect knife for bushcraft and stalking; outstanding value for money in a knife that will last a life-time - we highly reccomend Fallkniven knives to you. This knife is currently in use with the Swedish armed forces, as their standard survival knife....
The 'covert' version of the the wonderful F1.This knife is currently in use with the Swedish armed forces, as their standard survival knife....
Another beautifully crafted knife with the full Fallkniven pedigree; this knife has been specifically designed for the hunter/stalker.A 'built for purpose' no-compromise knife with north-Scandinavian traditional styling, the H1 is the result of years of searching for the 'perfect' hunting/stalking knife. The convex-ground blade blade is 5mm thick at its widest, this width continues through the entire handle resulting in an exceptionally strong strong knife. The handle is net-textured Kraton rubber, providing a safe and comfortable grip. The H1 is provided from Red-deer Outdoors in a Zytel sheath that conforms to modern meat hygene standards as recomended by DMQ and is dish-washer safe.
The Fallkniven S1 has found great favor among our customers who are engaged with professional deer-stalking and particularly with fallow stalking. The knife has a very straight-forward design which provides good control. The edge is specially ground to make the knife easy to use for delicate tasks whilst maintaing tremendous strength. The handle is 'netted' to provide a reliable grip, even by hands that are wet or very cold. The blade is in rust resistant laminated VG-10 steel which is specially hardened. For bushcraft use the length of the blade makes it good for splitting wood, although the weight limits its practical use to light chopping duty only. Red-Deer Outdoors provides the S1 in a practical Zytel sheath which is completely weatherproof and complies with DMQ meat hygiene reccomendations.
Were already well known for getting over-excited about our knives but this really is a stunning purpose made, hunting knife and yes, weve all got one on our belts already! Traditional Scandinavian style "Sandvik" pattern with non-slip rubberised handle in two-tone olive green colour, 9-1/2" overall length, a 4-1/2" profile-ground blade in high-quality Swedish cold-rolled stainless steel. Hard to put down once you have it in your hand; this is set to become a classic for UK stalkers and those who want a stylish and entirely practical working knife.
This is the classic Frosts Clipper knife, with black no-slip rubberised grip, this keeps the knife secure and safely in your hand even if it gets wet or sticky. The Hi-Vis fluorescent orange top & tail to the handle means you can still see your knife even if you should drop it in the grass or heather, a both useful and very important safety feature. The cold-rolled stainless steel blade is easy to sharpen and holds a razor-edge well even after grueling use. These knives are greatly undervalued as seriosu working tools; please don't let the price misslead you into seriously underestimating the quality of these fantastic blades. The 860comes in a non-porous plastic Hi-Vis fluorescent orange sheath which, can be easily washed clean after use.
Scandinavian forest axes need no introduction......but one with a plastic handle? We werent convinced either, then Mora showed us how the Camp-Axe is made; the blade tang goes deep into the handle, the non-slip plastic handle is dish-washer proof and so can be thoroughly cleaned after extended use or carcass work. We have used these axes extensively in the field and find them to be strong and faultless; sure, a traditional wooden handled axe may look nicer, but for all practical purposes, the Mora Camp Axe is a fantastic cost-effective choice. The blade is phenomenally sharp out of the box and holds an edge well through use - an EZE-Lap oval-EZE Fold (591), or double sided stone is all you need to maintain a razor sharp edge.
This pack combines the fantastic Morakniv 2000 Hunting knife and the Mora Camp Axe. Effectively all you need for bushcraft work in the woods; a practical knife and a strong versatile axe for the more heavy duty tasks; both with finest Swedish steel blades that wont let you down.Save money!
