*These boots feature the Danner 'Bob' sole - we do not reccomend these for use on smooth or rocky surfaces such as concrete or scree - these are definitely 'mud-plugger' or grassland boots.

Our best selling boot for some time now. Danner's first purist deer-stalking hunting boot, the Jackal GTX is perfect for stalkers looking to be stealthy and quiet in the woods. This mocassin-style stalking platform combines a super-thin midsole and outsole with a thick, cushioning insole. The result is that the stalker, although walking on a padded surface, has better "ground feel" through the boot. It allows the hunter to avoid stepping on twigs and branches that may alert his quarry. This boot has a fully waterproof GORE-TEX liner, full-grain pigskin leather and Mossy Oak Obsession camo panels.
*For obvious reasons, this boot is somewhat lacking in grip compared to other Danner boots - very much a specialist piece of equipment.
