From super light-weight to expedition Primus has become a household name in outdoor cooking equipment. Roald Amundsen had a Primus stove among his supplies when he became the first person to reach the South Pole, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay used a Primus on Mount Everest when they reached the summit in 1953. Primus has literally led the way with new fuel efficient burners; other manufacturers can only follow in the wake left by Primus designers and manufacturing standards. With the tide of opinion starting to turn away from wood/debris burning stoves and of course Meths/Alcohol burners due to their adverse environmental impact, gas (or butane) burning stoves are being viewed in a new light.....its only a matter of time before re-chargeable fuel cells are with us; in the mean-time dispose of your used canisters thoughtfully. Every day, all round the world millions of people use Primus stoves and Lanterns; no matter whether you need to cook at the North Pole or in your own back garden, you can count on Primus.

The latest stove offering from Primus in their acclaimed Lightweight Express range. If youve never used a remote, hose-attached gas stove before, now is probably the best time to start! This stove really is incredible, it is astonishingly light and, because of the pre-heat tube which, passes through the stoves own flame before ignition its astonishingly efficient too. (We have boiled half a litre of water in 3 & ½ minutes, outside and starting at just above freezing with this stove which used up 12g of fuel - efficient value).Because the Spider clings to the ground (like a Spider......durrghhh) it is though, above all its very stable......far more so that the cylinder-top models we have always used before, this also makes the stove less susceptible to the chilling effects of wind and far easier to shield (weve found its also much more stable in a fishing boat too...!) Youll find yourself using a stove far more frequently if its easy and efficient to use and if the chances of burning yourself are far less....i.e. you dont have to fiddle about under a boiling pot to get a simmer adjustment as the control is on the gas cylinder, not just below the flame as on a cylinder-top model.Supplied with it's own little stuff-baggie.Without doubt, our new favourite stove!- Weight: Aprox 198 g / 7 oz- Output: 2000 W / 7150 BTU/h- Ignition: Manual- Aprox Dimensions: 105 x 85 x 55 mm / 4.1'' x 3.3'' x 2.2'' - Suitable for: 1-4 people
All the efficiency and convenience of the brilliant EtaExpress, in a slightly larger 2-person unit. The Primus Eta PackLite Stove is extremely light, small, convenient, stable and efficient. The Eta Packlite cooking system has a metal base on which, ithe burner is cunningly mounted for stowage together with a piezo igniter; a windscreen, a 1.2 liter pot plus a sturdy and environmentally friendly polypropylene lid which, has small holes so it can be used as a colander. This is a stove that really deserves its name - it is small and easily collapsible. A captive armoured hose connects to a bayonet fastening for attachment to an 'external' LP canister. All the components can be packed into the pot (lined with a graded bowl made of hygienic, environmentally friendly polypropylene to protect the non-stick coating - the tub also makes an excellent serving bowl!), leaving room for a 100 gram LP gas cartridge. The fuel-efficient burner and the EtaPower pot with heat exchanger are the secret to the Packlites extraordinary efficiency - this cuts down on both weight and space in your rucksack by cutting down on fuel required. This would be an excellent choice of stove for people who want a Backpacking/Bushcraft cooking unit that stores within itself for transport and that comfortably serves two people or for use by one person on a longer outing.PLEASE NOTE: Fuel canister not included - Weight: 596 g (21 oz ) - Output: 2000 W (7150 BTU/h ) - Boiling time: 2.5 min - Dimensions: 170 x 125 mm (6.7" x 4.9") - Built in Ignition: Piezoelectric - Suitable for: 1-2 People - Volume: 1.2 litre (40.5 fl oz)
Ohh....Titanium!!Yes folks, its grey and very very sexy.....and no its not George Clooney...and no its not you Ian either..... its Titanium of course. Lightweight, durable and probably highly overrated but never-the-less with a huge following. This stove was designed by Primus in Japan specifically for solo use; the attention to detail and efficiency of design shines through from the moment you pick it up....its a really nice piece of work. This stove set is the all-in-one solution of choice, your folded Ti Stove and a 100g or 230g gas canister will invert and get a free ride inside the Ti Titanium pot when not in use; you can cook in the pot and/or use it as a drinking cup making this a space-saving cooking solution.Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this set though is the power of the stove (13,500 BTUs and hour....which is hot, hot, hot!)....if youve ever flown a Harrier Jump Jet youll have some idea of the power of this stove.....if you havent just fire a Ti Stove up for a good idea of the sound and power output. This is very much the bully-boy of outdoor stoves; put a wind-shield around the stove and you can cook, boil or indeed smelt metal in next to no time! The 0.9 litre titanium cooking pot can hold a 100 or 230 gram LP gas cartridge. Supplied with a net stuff sack.We do recommend this stove.....expensive but worth the cost; like all things that are beautifully made this stove set gets nicer with age too. Size: 120 x 95mm Weight: 198g. Output: 4000 W 13500 BTU/h. Boiling time: 3 mins. Suitable for: 1-2 people

Made of hard anodized aluminium with a multi-layer titanium nonstick surface on the inside. The pot has the phenomenal and well documented primus Eta heat exchanger on the bottom, which will make your gas stove approximately one third faster. By being faster, you stove is effectively more fuel-efficient - this makes the whole very much more environmentally friendly.
