New ProductsTatonka Teapot with built in Strainer £24.00 We are well known for our almost complete inability to do anything, for any length of time, without tea - this is for all of us who love proper loose-leaf teas but always seem to forget the strainer! A 1 litre Teapot with a strainer cleverly built into the main opening. Made from 18/8 Stainless Steel so easily kept clean and weighing only 330grms this pot is aproximately 15cm across and 7cm deep - it brews plenty of tea for two thirsty hikers, walkers, fishermen, stalkers or bushcrafters.
find out more | | Tatonka Bowl with Grip £7.75 As the name suggests, this is a bowl - with a grip. Sounds simple enough, and indeed it is; the grip affords a better purchase on the bowl and allows you to handle even the hottest of hot meals when served - its great! Made from 18/8 Stainless Steel so its easy to keep immaculately clean, measures 18cm across and about 5cm deep so holds plenty of good grub - or even soup. An all-round neat peice of kit, the only bowl you'll need....and at only 165gms you really won't notice it in your back-pack. find out more | | CUTCO - Fluoro-Orange/Drop-Point £50.00 Sorry! Temporarily out of stock - these will be back in stock on 22nd July 2009, please call to reserve your knife from our next order.
The ergonomic, bright fluorescent-orange handle is made from Krayton and is safe, non-porous and hygienic; you won't loose this in the heather or grass and you won't accidentally stand on it if you've put it down. The strong, stainless-steel blade is razor sharp from the factory and is easily mintained ("a sharp knife is a safe knife" - See our range of EZE-Lap Sharpeners). The drop-point blade makes easy work of even bigger species and is a good all-round shape for outdoor tasks. A quality top-grain cowhide sheath is povided with a retaining button and a belt-loop - a man-made fibre insert protects the knife and, more importantly, protects the sheath from the knife keeping it clean and free of contamination. Sharp-forever care: if you do somehow manage to lose the profile altogether through normal use and maintenance - send it back to us and we'll re-grind it free of charge. If you accidentally break the blade or damage the handle (through normal use) send it back and we will replace the knife for 1/2 of the then current RRP plus shipping and handling. The Drop-point blade is the most popular all-round design for both stalking and general bushcraft use. Safe. Hygienic. Strong & covered for life find out more | |
Best Selling ItemsFjallraven - Vintage Shoulder bag £39.95 Retro looks meet every-day practicality; this is a simple shoulder bag with plenty of applications..... Under the main buckle-secured cover are two small pockets secured by Velcro, in-between these are four pen/pencil holders. More of a 'daypack' than a 'back-pack' as-such, but in a classic retro design, the 30 and 20 Litre versions of this pack are both proving to be incredibly popular. The pack is made from soft, quiet G-1000 material and so is incredibly strong; buckled leather straps hold the lid on the main compartment in place. The spacious main compartment has two ties to secure it and a zippered pocket in the closure flap; the two side pockets are also secured with leather straps and buckles. The shoulder straps are comfortable and well padded, the pack has a strong frame which makes it comfortable and airy to wear even over longer distances with plenty of room for your waterproof macintosh, sandwiches and of course your essential flask or tea-making equipment; we've been happily using the Fjallraven Vintage packs for a couple of years now for walking, picnics, foraging and as day-sacs for hill-stalking.
